                                                                             We are celebrating our 54th  year!

Rainbow Express Preschool is a day care center located within Grace Mennonite Church in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. We are a non-profit ministry of this congregation. 

Our staff and teachers are what set us apart from other child care centers. Each teacher is committed to loving, Christ-centered care, academic excellence, and modeling and teaching Godly character. We are intentional about cultivating a Christian, family environment. We serve a variety of denominational backgrounds. 

We began in the late 1960s as the first full-day child care center in the Lansdale area. The church family saw the need for child care before all of the large day care franchises existed. The pastor at that time petitioned law makers and spent long hours planning and praying to make this ministry possible. We opened our doors on September 15, 1969, with six children and have expanded our programs to now include over 55 children plus summer camp. 

We are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. The Pennsylvania Department of Education also licenses our Kindergarten program.

Our hours of operation are 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Parents contract the hours they need. 8 hours is the least amount of time we offer.  Please see our school calendar on our Updates & Events page for holidays and in-service days.
