We have a fantastic school-age summer camp program available:
After the Rainbow Club (ATRC)
For children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th Grade
ATRC Curriculum Overview:
ATRC is our exciting school-age day camp that runs from June 12, through August 18, 2017, in five 2-week sessions. This fun and very active program is designed to keep our campers moving and having a great time interacting with each other and with our teachers. Each morning after a time of free play outside, our campers have a morning get-together, devotions, and time of prayer. Then, they rotate through workshops (example: kickball, friendship puzzles, building race cars), a group missions event, or large group games (example: wet and wild relays, penny toss walk, "Olympic" games). On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we all go to Whites' Road Pool for an afternoon of swimming. On Tuesday afternoons, we have a special event at school or a half-day field trip to a park or play place. Every Thursday, we have a full-day trip to an exciting location.
Additional Information for ATRC:
Our campers really enjoy each other and the time that they spend together. They show understanding for those who are experiencing trouble or difficulties. They love arts and crafts, four square, castle parks, and capture the flag.
Our teachers are degreed and experienced leaders. We have a low child-teacher ratio for field trips and swimming. All trips are included in the tuition fees.
